What a lovely B&B. Highly recommended.
My daughter and I stayed in room 5. It was a delightful room, up in the eaves of the building. Nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and with a good sized en suite. The B&B has parking, and is an easy 10⁄15 stroll from York centre.
The owners were friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our car there even though we arrived in York well before our check in time. Service was excellent.
The breakfast was delicious. A great choice of fruits and cereals, and a tasty cooked breakfast too.
If you need a B&B in York, you won’t go far wrong with Bowen House.
