Enterprise Rent-A-Car

While the prices can be a real bargain — right now they’re running a promotion where you can rent a car over the weekend for only 12 pound a day — the service can be a little problematic. Their online booking system does not seem well coordinated with their actual availability — we had our booking confirmed online and showed up at their office only to find out that the last car in its category was being serviced, and no offer of a solution was made by the employees of the company. Normally you would expect to be offered a higher category car for no extra charge, while they insisted they would charge for an upgrade. Attempts to resolve the issue over the phone ended up with the staff hanging up the phone, which I believe is unacceptable.
The cars are in a good condition, despite absolutely minimal specs. The first time we hired, however, we had to deal with a persistant odour of sheep over our whole weekend away.
