not the most desirable place. dont think ive ever seen it open during the day. wen i asked the dj for a track he’d never heard of it! wouldnt recommend going there at all, its always filthy dirty!

Chequers Wine Bar is the antithesis of everything a wine bar should be. If you cannot avoid the club itself, you must certainly avoid the wine which is the most god awful plonk you are likely to every get your mouth around.
Chequers has all the atmosphere of football match just before a riot starts, it is intrusively noisy, frequently dirty and bewilderingly packed tighter than a sardine tin.
If there is anything less appetising than the wine it is the cocktail list. The Sangria which has to be seen to be believed (but certainly not tasted) is white opaque liquid that looks nothing like the red wine sangria should be made from.

This place sells cheap drinks but that all it’s worth visiting for.
It is small and crammed full of people music blaring no chance of a conversation.

I hate this place. Its so small and cramped. It is always dirty and sticky. Drinks are cheap but it is not a nice place to sit and chat. There are hardly any seats.
Dont bother going to the toilet here — they are embarrasingly unclean. My friend had her bag robbed from under the toilet door. That pretty much sums up the type of poeple that go here im afraid.
