The Crown used to be a great pub, but now just blends into the mass of city centre drinking holes. If you want to have a break from shopping during the day and just want a cheap coffee, they probably serve the cheapest coffee in Worcester. The coffee is fine too, but I find the building a little bit dark and dingey for daytime. It must be one of the oldest pubs in Worcester and should be something special for that, but unfortunately the heart and soul seems to have been sucked out of it in an atempt to appeal to everyone. Having said all that I often find myself aranging to meet people at the Crown, as it is so conveniently, centrally located.
