Costa Coffee

Nice and small costa, I probably prefer to be in a small Costa than a bigger one on the High Street, especially during the weekends for example, as it is more quite and more free to find a place to seat in the Costa between Nationwide Bank and Lloyds Bank.
However sometimes some bakery choices are limited.

Costa staff are always friendly if sometimes rushed off their feet. This branch is in a charming building and in a convenient spot in the centre of Worcester. The only disadvantage that I can think of is that the toilet is hidden away down the back of the ground floor and it takes some finding. The coffee and the food is better than average and reasonably priced.

Popped into Costa this afternoon, it’s not my usual coffee haunt but I’ve had excelent coffee from the one at Tesco’s in Evesham so thought I’d give it a shot, what a dissapointment. They were more concerned about closing than serving, the guy who made my drink, a soy late with Caramel didn’t know how to make it then forgot the caramel! It was also bitter. I will not be going back, I’m sticking to Café Nero and their lovely chatty staff who actually seam to enjoy serving me and make far superior coffee!

Costa’s coffee is always pretty much the same, and I have to say, I do quite like it. Once you’ve managed to wade through all of the mutitude of choices to get the one you like, it comes to you hot and tasty, what more could you ask? I suppose you could ask for a cup of coffee that doesn’t cost the same as a complete jar would cost at the supermarket, but that’s probably just my Scotish roots coming out.
The trouble with this Costa is that it is inside a converted bank, and that’s exactly what it feels like. The windows are all above head height even when you’re standing up and, although, they’ve made an effort with the décor, I still find myself expecting to be tapped on the shoulder and asked if I want to open a savings account.
