The venue is lovely, the service and staff are brilliant, but the food was a let down. The lunch menu was sub-​par, with a lot of boring ‘play safe’ dishes. After a lot of people I know rave about the food here, after two visits I’m not quite sure about their judgement.

This place is one of those that you would drive out to for a change. Great pub in a lovely village. Choice of ales, lager etc.
More outsiders than villagers. Worth a drive.

Nice, cosy countryside pub. Has a nice old-​fashioned feel to it. Serves some ales and several lagers. Can also sit outside in summer which is nice as the area is very quiet.

This is a Holden’s pub about 6 miles out of Wolverhampton situated next to a church. Recently been refurbished. Serves food. Very pleasant place for a drink if you fancy a drive out.
