We’ve just signed up this company for our patients. Chosen because of the intense input of client visual and audio needs. The quite remarkable service includes marking clients names on the glasses and if they are for distance or close use. Also available are communication boards ie pictures.
BUT, one of the main points is the training they offer our nurses/​carers Example: all staff will be offered ‘doctored’ glasses for certain conditions ie Macular Degeneration, Cataracts, Glaucoma etc. in order that they may understand patients eye conditions. Really good stuff
