I would stay these fish and chips were pretty decent but nothing amazing. Batter can be a little greasy at times & the serving times can be occasionally on the slow side. They do appear to benefit from being the only chippy south of Woking Station.

This place was closed when we moved to the area, but is the only one nearby so we were very glad to see it reopen not long afterward. However. I have to say we were very disappointed in the food. The fish wasn’t very thick, the batter very heavy and mushy. The chips tasted of other food cooked in the same oil. Price was decent and service was quick, but it was so bad that I’m loathe to give them a second chance to see if it was just an off night, so soon after reopening. We’ll see. If I do and it’s better, I’ll definitely come back and let you know. :)
