Screen at the Witney Corn Exchange

This is currently the only place i go to watch movies, its close, its convenient, it doesn’t cost the earth and the man that runs it is an absolute diamond.
Before the film he comes in and tells you a little about it, he asks the audience why they have come tonight and hands out a gift to the one he feels most deserving.
When i went to see Mamma Mia, a lady from a local store was there with a group of coleegues celebrating her retirement form her job of 25 years and the nice man gave her a cd of the film. How cool is that.
I think it will be a shame for the town when he has to close in favour of the multi screen that is being built in the town, they will charge more and wont give the personal touch

This place is like sitting in your front room, a man pops up telling you about the film. If its your birthday you may get a mars bar thrown your way lol !
