Oddbins

The Oddbins on Castle Street and Bold Street look like store cupboards in comparison to the company’s mammoth store on the Wirral. Located in a large warehouse on New Chester Road, it’s aimed at companies, local businesses and individuals that like to buy their alcohol in bulk. There’s ample parking outside, special discounts and lines for trade customers and 20% discount if you buy twelve bottles of each wine rather than one or two.
As for the actual drinks, there’s an impressive list of Australian, Chilean, American, Italian, French, Spanish, German, New Zealand and British wines from white, pink and rose to sparkling. If you prefer champagne, they also stock bottles and crates of everything from Veuve Clique, Bollinger, Krug, Taittinger, Dom Merignon and Moet and Chandon to my favourite, Laurent Perrier Rose. The staff will even help you carry and load your purchases into your car too.
