We managed to book a table in advance so no wait although there was a queue to be seated for those who hadn’t thought in advance.
The food was standard Pizza express so not bad. That said my Pizza Base was soggy and the calzone was below par. Not seasoned well and a boring taste. The kids enjoyed their items from the kids menu and it represented ok value for money.
The service was below par. We were only seated quickly as we booked in advance but had to wait about 25 mins just for our starters and getting on for 40 mins for the main course. I’d say none of the staff were very attentive and we even witnessed a spat between staff members at one point. Because of this we chose to skip the desserts.
The baby change facilities in our opinion were not adequate or thought out. Quite dangerous actually.
To surmise, the food was average at best and service was poor. It wasn’t awfully busy in my opinion even if it appeared to be however I’d put this down to bad organisation.

Waited for a table without any acknowledgement from the staff. No menu, no niceties (which didn’t seem to be in the fabric of the service anyway). 15 minutes is far too long waste for just average fare.

Smart but a little small, standard issue Pizza Express. Never had bad food here and the prices are very reasonable if you can get one of their special offers or a voucher from the internet. Staff can be a bit all over the place but are friendly and helpful so a nice place to have dinner. Check your bill though, they have made the odd mistake in the past when I’ve eaten there.
