Walking down one of Windsor’s side streets, I came across this authentic gem. Having just been in Hamburg a few days before, I was hesitant to try anything that was outside of Germany or Austria but I’m glad the smells of the shop overcome that initial hesitation. A wide selection of items were available, including pretzels, sweets, breads and cheeses. I purchased a few items and all tasted as delicious as they looked.
The three merchants were all german natives and you could tell the love and care they put into the shop.
A truly welcomed find in England.

An absolutely wonderful example of a true artisan third generation baker at his best, lots of wonderful breads rolls and other authentic Germanic goodies and well worth a visit.
