The garden centre itself is set in an old walled garden, the surroundings are beautiful and you will find lots of traditional plants including roses, climbers etc. There is a fabulous café which serves delicious food and coffee, we had baguettes and cake, both were really good and not badly priced. The garden centre itself does not come across as being that friendly, there are signs everywhere — no dogs, no cycles in the garden centre(who would ride their bike through there), children should be well supervised, no climbing on the fence, etc etc. I did not find the service that friendly in the shop to be honest. However, all that aside if you fancy a little trip out to the country for a nice cup of coffee and a wander through the plants then it’s worth a visit. It doesn’t get five stars as they could improve their over all service in the garden centre — the coffee shop is very lovely and welcoming.
