For food on the run nothing beats tasty fish and chips, and this is the best place to get the traditional British fare. Staff are young, friendly and always smiling, and they deliver your order in a no-​nonsense manner. Even during a busy evening shift.
Fish — cod, haddock, rock etc — is always fresh, and the batter is golden. The chips are thick-​cut and fluffy inside, and are delicious with lashings of vinegar. Portion size is generous and variable so order according to hunger.
Shame they don’t do house deliveries though…
