Whitby & District Rifle Club

This may be a members only club for most of the time but, during Whitby Folk Week, It is one of the main event venues.
It is really easy to get to and is adjacent to the Leisure Centre car park.
The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable about what they are serving this week it was mostly Theakston’s Grousebeater, but there are a number of keg choices as well. The main concert room holds a reasonable amount of audience to provide a comfortable, cosy atmosphere, even when Big name performers are on, although it is always advisable to get there early. There are other rooms available downstairs and we had a nightly singaround in one very well-​attended and competently run.
The club itself is clean and well-​looked-​after. They do serve food at certain times, the usual mealtimes mainly, and it seems to be good, although I haven’t sampled any yet.
