We visited this restaurant for my friends birthday. It was on a weekday so pretty chilled atmosphere but still the décor was lovely and they had done wonders with such a small space. There were seven of us so we just about squished in; parties any larger might not fit but im sure they’d try to accommodate. My friend was so excited for thai food as he had travelled through Thailand a couple years back. To start I split the chicken satay and crispy dumplings with a friend. The satay were delicious and the peanut sauce was excellent. The crispy dumping however were a massive disappointment. They were essentially just deep fried pastry with zero filling. They were totally flat and full of air. When we questioned the staff she offered no apology or exchange and told us that they cant put too much filling or they wont crisp up. Having made my own crispy Japanese gyoza in the past I know this to be a lie. Im pretty sure they just served us a £5 plate of nothing. The mains on the other hand were outstanding. I could not fault the red curry I ate, very fresh and tasty. I even took home my leftovers and had the sauce with rice for my lunch the next day. I would recommend this restaurant but warn people to avoid those dumplings at all costs.
