Lovely place, never knew they were here until a friend told me about them. There is new new ownership to a local brewery and new local family management. Décor is lovely reminds me of a village pub. There is a selection of 8 real ales, a big selection of ciders and usual selection of spirits. They have won third place in pub of the year from CAMRA 2015.

Strange place. In Good Beer Guide, but only had 2 ales on. Can’t remember which 1 I had! But I was happy to get out asap. The problem was at 6pm on a Saturday, the local clientele were ‘not my type’.I can’t really recommend it for passing trade, as I wasn’t made welcome. Nuff said.
