My parents found this pub when visiting me after an operation at nearby Hillingdon hospital. We returned this week for an early Sunday lunch, and it was perfectly pleasant. If I was rating it for the food alone, I would probably give it a 3. There was nothing wrong with it, but it wasn’t anything spectacular either, just standard, honest, pub grub. The atmosphere was lovely, both the staff and the customers were friendly and made us feel very welcome, so I’m awarding an extra star for that. We were here on a cold January day but will definitely be back in warmer weather to try out that awesome looking beer garden!
