a nice place with some very nice coffees, snacks and meals. lovely place for lunch or morning coffee if you are in Tunbridge Wells

Just like every other Nero. The espresso is bitter, the tea is weak, the cakes and other food are OK but aren’t brilliant value for money, and if you have any milky coffee you probably need at least one extra shot. The service is fine but that doesn’t make up for the above. I tend to suggest a different meeting place(e.g. Ismail or Naked Coffee) when friends suggest it.

Oh, the mediocrity!!! Really pleasant staff but the bitter coffee and corporate fake continental(& tatty) décor leave me cold. Seek out Ismail instead in TW…

Caffe Nero is always I think of a good quality. Less commercial than Starbucks and nicer coffee than Costas. This branch in Tunbridge Wells is not very different from any others. It’s clean and there are some private seats and some places to sit and chat. The staff are friendly and the coffee hot and strong. There are also a large selection of tasty looking cakes and sandwiches and some healthy eating options as well.
