Tamarind is in my opinion the best Indian restaurant in Tring. It reminds me a lot of the Curry Garden in Berkhamsted, which is also excellent. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. They also cater for large groups which makes a great evening out. Take away is an option, although I’m not sure if the price differs from eating in, in which case I’d highly recommend eating in. A good selection of beers, wines and spirits are available and staff are very attentive and quick to respond to any requests. I would suggest booking in advance on Friday and Saturdays as the restaurant is not enormous and fills up quickly.
