7÷4÷2015FIFA final England vs Germany I spoke with the servers, the supervisors to see the England vs Germany Game and I was waiting but no game. I ask for the Manager and said the supervisor had left and she did not know anything and I should have ask her. If the supervisor nor the servers told her its her and her poor leadership to have communication to provide excellent customer care and not up to me to assist her. I left after waiting for three hours. Manager left with no apologizes rather making me feel that I was at fault. I left to Lime Bar and enjoyed the national game. England WON! Thanks Mr. Garcia Stretford Greater Manchester M320SF

A typical Wetherspoons which isn’t that bad, but it does get quite a rowdy crowd due to it being so close to Manchester United Football ground, It has the usual Wetherspoons menu with good priced beer! I had a Carlsberg at £2.10 and also noticed that the rest of the menu had a great selection of great beers including many IPAS and American Beer and a good selections of Real ales. I was only here for a few drinks with work friends for the evening.

A big big pub that on match day is packed with United fans! LOVEIT! A wide range of beers and friendly staff, a good place to celebrate my Man United-membership as its only 5 minutes away from Old Trafford :)))

Along with The Trafford and Sam Platts, the Bishops Blaize is among the top Manchester United football pubs in the city. In fact, my personal preference is this one, though being a huge Manchester United fan, I give all three 5 stars. This is a Wetherspoons pub, though you wouldn’t know it on a match-day. Its jam packed with passionate Manchester United fans chanting and singing fantastic and hilarious Manchester United songs for the few hours leading up to kick off. Here they even have a famous guy who leads the chanting, standing on a table bellowing out the tunes to get everyone started. Great cold beers as well, perfect for the pre-match banter! You can have a swift one or two to celebrate the inevitable United win after the game too, but only till 11pm. Its got a history too, as The first Bishop Blaize inn, named after the patron saint of woolcombers, was recorded here in the mid 15th century. Though this was demolished in 1863, it still bears the name today. The only thing is, you have to show your season ticket to get in so you can’t come in if you’re not a massive fan!
