Four stars are for Danny who so looked after me and my friend I had requested a table not by speakers as I have severe bilateral tinnitus wish I could say that was from a life filled with loud good stuff happening but alas no. A very quiet Thursday for birthday but we like that… well it was apart from a very loud young lady who Danny said «I can’t sit you there» but take your pick of any other available table. So right healthy options for me (need bit of padding to go!) Rrr goats cheese salad but ooo bruscheta starter weird e dist ” bruscheta I’ve ever had (basically was chopped onion and tomato) none of that tomato lovliness, it was tasteless !
Aaw well let’s see what billy has for me (billy .billy goat get it oo in a laugh an hour aren’t I)) £7.95 should be good… well you would think… it arrived and eew me no likely iceberg, considering it was supposed to be baby gem, and think billy had gone on strike… hang on Billie (female Billie). Ever stared at something long enough thinking that something going to happen? Well it did, Danny said everything okay with your meals! …so explained that it was not anything like its description… I’ll let pictures speak there’s a before and after. On this occasion F and B’s was okay, because of Danny.
I would go again.

When I go to the cinema in Tamworth, this is the obvious meeting point. It’s fine if you’re just meeting for cocktails or beers — there’s a decent cocktail menu and often two-​for-​one details which makes a bit more of an evening out of it, though the service is unbelievably slow.
I’m always disappointed with the food — more than once, the staff have forgotten to process my order, leaving us either wolfing sub-​standard food down quickly to avoid missing the movie or cancelling our order altogether and sitting, stomach grumbling, through the movie.
Because it’s a popular family spot, it’s incredibly noisy too, so I’d stick to the drinks.
That said — the pancake breakfast is damn nice on the rare occasions I’ve visited it after a heavy night out!

As cheap and cheerful go, the Frankie & Benny’s chain is an easy choice. With the story behind the restaurant carefully crafted by a team of restraunteurs in London, it’s a bit strange to this American, but all in all, as one of the most successful restaurant chains in the UK, it’s a safe choice for an evening out.
There are three choices on draught beer, including Boddington’s, Stella and Carling, and several bottles of beer. The wine is expensive (as is the rest of the menu), but interesting, with few of the boring offerings of other restaurants.
The menu is dependable, if pricey for what you get, and a lot of the food is actually fairly authentic American-​Italian.
