Offering a classy interior with attractive booths and lavish furnishings, this bar/club hybrid looks and feels swanky and expensive inside, but actually benefits from fairly reasonable drink prices. Flair pored cocktails and a vibrant ambience are guaranteed on every visit, and despite only having one bar inside, service is surprisingly fast and efficient. The recently constructed roof terrace is open until 10pm and a great place to enjoy a few drinks with drinks over some light conversation, but inside(especially of a weekend), Temple’s vibe is much more upbeat, favouring a loud club atmosphere over a quiet bar one. The music tends to be pretty good and Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays see Temple open until 3:00am, but herds of bawdy teenagers of a weekend definitely dent the club’s otherwise elegant ambience a little. A mid-week evening is definitely the best time to visit, but avoid Mondays. Mondays are strictly for private hire only.
