Offering great tasting Indian dishes at reasonable prices and an efficient, local delivery service, this respected Tandoori Restaurant is a great place to go for a mid-week takeaway. When it comes to a meal out, Maa’s seating area is a tad claustrophobic and eerily silent, with Indian music piped at ludicrously low level and tables packed too tightly together, but for take-out food, this Eastern wonder is a real gem. The staff are openly friendly and talkative, offering takeaway customers complimentary drinks whilst they await collection of their order and the restaurant’s quick delivery service is second to none. From my experience, I would highly recommend Maa’s tasty curries, especially their chicken and mushroom balti.
