Carluccio’s

So, it was after a show at the Swan theater, gone past 10 and I was _​starving_​!!! This was the only place close by that was open, and when I checked, they said they were happy to serve me, that the kitchen was still open, but just with a limited menu. So I sat down, and ordered a plate of Pasta con Funghi (Egg pappardelle with a mix of shiitake, oyster, porcini and button mushrooms). I also ordered some lemonade.
I think waited only about 10 – 15 mins, and the food arrived. I was very hungry, so gulped it down, plus the rich pungent smell of all those lovely mushrooms was irresistible. I was so pleased with this choice, as the mushrooms were a good amount, and the quality of the pasta was really excellent. I scrapped the plate clean, and my tummy was very happy.
When I went up to pay, gave into temptation and got some of the excellent biscotti to munch on the way back to the car.
Great place– will def go here again.

This Chain has really gone downhill. It used to be really lovely food but it’s now very average and over-​priced. Expect to pay £7-£8 for a small salad. Also only tip the service in cash or Carluccio keeps it.
