This isn’t the most exciting boozer in the area but has later opening hours than the exciting ones, hence my trip here. I don’t think the ale selection was very inspiring but there was a reasonably priced very drinkable Pilsner which I enjoyed.
Staff were really friendly and there was a good atmosphere, everyone enjoying themselves but not too lairy. I won’t make this a destination but it’s a good option for late night drinks in the area.

I was a bit sceptical going into the plough initially as it looked like a bit of a local pub for local people. But it’s not, it has quite a young crowd actually and they sell awesome pizza at good prices, especially if you sign up for the loyalty card. There are various ales on tap which change regularly and the bar staff are friendly and can’t do enough to make you feel at home
