The Sefton seems to be one of those places that is one thing during the day and quite another at night. During the day it’s quite a nice place to have a pub lunch and a quiet drink; it’s a favourite of my Gran’s. However, at night it’s one of the worst places to go in St Helens full of drunks.

the caliber of people in here at the end of the night isnt the best, drunk people from beneath toad stools from around the town. if you go in the day its quite alright, decent beer for a decent price and food thats not the highest of quality but it goes down good and stays down. its not the cheapest or the best by any means and there are places that excel much more little more than 5 minutes away. id still go on a night tho just for the comedy value of monsters dancing with creatures thinking they own the night

Nice pub with pleasant surroundings. Good selection of food with special offers. Not bad for a meal but there are cheaper places just 5 minutes away.
