Barking Frog

Yep, that’s about as weird as a salamander miaowing. It’s not necessarily a visual I want to picture, but as a restaurant, is it far less surreal and more tasty?
People are loyal to this Frog. The warm welcome, the pleasant staff, the family friendly vibe, polite service and fabulous food keep customers coming back. The Mediterranean fare is perfect for a lazy summer evening but is bound to put the spring into your step in colder climates too. There are some unusual and delicious options such as mushrooms in a pastry basket or deep fried goat’s cheese, all of which are tasty and fresh, and the veggie options are numerous amongst the classic meat and fish dishes. Even if the place is busy the staff will do their best to accommodate you, and the complimentary bread and dips really set you up for something delicious, and the accompanying garlic bread is orgasmic.
The décor is gorgeous too, I love the lighting and the rustic wooden features. Value for money? Tick. Wines and cocktails to tantalise the tastebuds and complement your meal? Double tick. Great stuff, the Frog certainly is worth Barking about, that’s for sure.

My favourite restaurant to visit for a great meal out. The food is great, the ambience is great, the service is great.
I would descirbe the décor as vaguely Moroccan with teracotta walls where the paint appears to have been ‘washed’ on. The food is caters for all tastes. They have a standard menu and also have specials, all of which are explained to you when you are given your menus upon being shown to your seat.
It can be intimate enough for a cosy evening with someone special or lively enough for a works night out.
A restaurant for all occasions and I would highly recommend it.
