Ridiculously good value for money. I had a T-Bone Steak cooked medium with chips, peas and mushrooms. The steak was served with garlic butter, which had been placed on the steak partially melting into something tasting amazing. I had also ordered peppercorn sauce to accompany my meal, this was just the right mix between creaminess and pepper. For my desert, I had an Eton Mess. This was not too rich, but it was quite sweet; however very satisfying and refreshing. All in all, a very pleasant meal.

We had Sunday lunch here quite recently with the bros and his family. It is a very busy and popular place to eat and may be worth booking beforehand. As is our way, we didn’t book but still managed to bag a table so if you want to try on spec you should be ok. Sunday lunch was reasonably priced at about £7 each. There was a vegetarian option which the short aggressive person in our party enjoyed. I really enjoyed my meal which was served quickly by the pleasant, attentive staff. The meat option came with a Yorkshire pudding, three Veg and some mashed stuff which could have been sweet potato(I never asked what it was!) which made a pleasant change from the normal mash. Service at the bar was quick with hardly any delays. Watch your head as you move from the drinks bar to where you order food, the bros didn’t and managed to clobber his head. The range of real ales was a bit slim with only a couple of session bitters to be sampled. Overall a very pleasant way to spend a Sunday lunch time
