Although this pub is very friendly and welcoming, i felt it was lacking atmosphere. This pub was busy so thats a good sign i suppose. The food menu looks great, and there is range of beers and ales. I was glad they had Ubu, as this is my favourite ale. The pub is fairly large and the décor in some parts seems very traditional with a vintage look and feel. There is a large car park opposite the pub and seating with tables, outside the pub. I think this country pub is worth visiting for a bite to eat and a drink on a summers day

OK: right about the rationed condiments, but otherwise food is improved over last menu. Lots of space inside and a good atmosphere as a country pub — Service fairly respectable — good beers and especially wines. It’s nearby and so I go reasonably often but am watching the service for improvement.
