A variation of Italian foods just a walk from the Ice rink. This restaurant sandwiched between two fine Asian cuisines has little authentic Italian rivalries. I opted for a pasta dish, and was relieved to enjoy something different to the usual takeaway food I had experienced. I was hoping to maintain my healthy eating hence why I chose the pasta meal. I was naïve as the thick pasta sauce running through my meal was creamy yet quite tasty. After so long of digging in the thick consistency of the meal took its toll and I was too full for dessert. A nice Italian venue with a variety of meals all for a reasonable price.

I’ve been here for a few friend’s birthday meals. There’s always a great selection of tables, so you never have to worry about booking them out. I’m quite a big fan of Italian food, so coming here for the first time, I was excited to sample an independent(I’ve always eaten at chain Italian restaurants before). The premises itself is lovely and spacious with inviting, modern, sleek black tables. And I always remark at how cooling the air conditioning is. I hate eating in a restaurant that’s hot and sweaty, but Pavarotti’s has maintained perfect room temperature every time I’ve been in. I’m really bad with pronunciations of dishes, and Italian spelling for that matter(I need to touch up!) So I always read the descriptions and usually choose a pasta dish. Most of the pasta choices have been very filling, and maybe a little overfilling, which is nothing to complain about; I just need to know when to stop myself from eating! However, I must admit, I’ve had tastier Italian food elsewhere. The staff are proficient, but I wouldn’t exactly call it service with a smile.
