Master Chef

I’ve been eating lunch from sandwich shops in Sheffield pretty much every day for the last 20 years. Masterchef, although a long drive from my current office, has been my goto choice for a good quality sandwich nearly forever. Do not be put off by the location. The building is lovely, the kitchen is open, busy and always smells great. Parking is available on the pavement outside or in a small disused community centre car park 100 yds away.
They constantly have new and interesting things on the menu and recently added a wood fired pizza oven — the pizzas are good and the flatbreads amazing. However, the signature sandwich and the one I go back for time and time again is the Chicken Tandoori (cooked fresh in house every day) and Bacon Baguette — Get it with the salad and yogurt sauce. The Onion Bhajis are also the best I’ve tasted anywhere. Even the salad boxes are just incredible. Best of all, it’s not in the least bit overpriced.
I just can’t recommend Masterchef enough. Well worth the drive from the other side of Sheffield…
