This is really good and affordable restaurant for students. During my stay in Sheffield, this was the favourite among the students. Best place to eat after late night parties on the West Street.

I will admit straight away I have not been to Jannath for a few years but I still think fondly of their Persian Chicken Biryani: a chicken biryani with sultanas topped with a thin omelette and served with a vegetable sauce… Amazing! I haven’t seen this specific menu item anywhere else.
I tried several items on the menu that have always lived to expectations, but my oh my… the Persian chicken biryani is the best! and did I mention it’s cheap as chips?
This place was recommended to me by an Indian friend. Don’t be fooled by the shabby looks of this little hole in the wall, everyone I brought there absolutely loved the food!
