the foundry climbing center is one of my top 3 places i like to climb, tho it is not the nearest to me i make the extra miles just to climb some of these fantastic routes they have at the foundry, and there café at the entrance of the building at reception is amazing, serving fresh made cake every day. some of the best cake i have ever tasted!
in fact my profile photo on this website is one of 100’s i have taken on day trips to the foundry!

I have only been to this climbing hall so I can not compare, yet I thourally enjoyed the experience. There is parking available for around 20 cars, a café serving hot food except weekends. Entry is cheap; around £3 and they have harnesses to rent. There are walls for all levels of climber. I haven’t yet seen the place over crowded and the staff are really friendly and enjoy a joke.
