Even though I’ve moved away from Woodseats, I’ve stayed registered with this dental practice. Partly because it’s so difficult to get in with anywhere else as an NHS patient — but also because of the great service I’ve received. The staff are always friendly and efficient, and I never have to wait too long to be seen. They always send out a reminder letter when it’s time for a check-up, although you’re likely to be waiting a couple of months before your appointment as they are always booked up — it’s especially hard to get an appointment for late afternoon. They’ll always try to squeeze you in if you need an appointment in an emergency, though.

Not that going to the dentists is ever meant to be a nice experience, but at least here they do their best to make it bearable. As an NHS dentists, they are a rarity and as such, there is a massive waiting list to actually get on their books. The reception staff are lovely and very good at sending reminder letters out but you do have to wait a few months for routine appointments. As such, you find that they never do unnecessary work because they simply don’t have the time! Adrian has looked after my teeth for years and despite meeting numerous mouths every day, always takes an interest in what you’re up to — making sure that nervous patients aren’t too anxious. I’d never move away from them.
