Not good to be honest. Just called in for lunch, had soup of the day, home made mushroom and calamari kulak. The soup was either packet or tinned, but not home made. It was powdery, or chalky. Couldn’t quite put my finger on it, and tasted like tinned or packet but no better. The calamari was so plain despite to challis and soy glaze.
I am now starting to feel not too great after that meal, upset stomach, and nauseous.

The food and service here used to be really good. The last few times I have been here, however, teh quality of food, presentation and service appears to have dropped dramatically I’m not sure if this is due to a change in management. I had the plaice in a homemade sauce with potatoes and veg: it went beyond tasteless, the sauce was not good. When I made them aware of this they did remove the cost of this off of the final bill but it was not done in good grace. The builiding itself could do with some love and attention and the pricing possibly needs revising according to their current offering. A real shame as this place has always come highly recommended.
