This place was so-​so. We had a few beers and the lamb. The lamb wasn’t that great. It was a little under seasoned and overcooked. Not terrible, but I won’t be back.

Looks great from the outside and inside, which is why we went in. The ambiance and the beers on tap save this place, but don’t bother with lunch here. Pricey pies and below average sandwiches… I could make one better at home with some ingredients from a local grocery store. Quite disappointing considering how it looked from the outside. Drop in for a pint and keep moving. I think the sandwiches a few doors down with the days roasts in the window would have been better…

I did not know this was a new place, but it is in a line of many other restaurants, pubs, tea rooms, cafes and bakeries in the main square of Salisbury. On a Monday night this pub was pretty quiet, but there were enough people to keep the atmosphere lively. Had the bangers & mash which was very nice and a few pints of traditional British ale. Loved the old style inn and maybe it was too quiet to have the fireplace going, but it sit in the middle of the inn. Friendly bar maids completed the atmosphere of this pub to check out if you are in town.
