Very nice pub, real fire, 4 – 5 real ales, walled out door seating. Didn’t eat but the food which other people were eating looked very good.

This lovely cozy pub rarely disappoints. With beautifully presented and locally sourced pub fare it’s a must boost place if you are in the Romsey area. Their beef is usually a good choice but their burger and fish and chips are also consistently good at delivering! Make sure to book ahead as it can often be hard to get a spot on the weekends. Also dogs are allowed in the bar area.

I decided to pop into the Three Tuns for a pub lunch as — despite being a local of Romsey — hadn’t been in there before. I must say, I had a very nice meal and a very pleasant time! The barman greeted me kindly and asked me what I’d like to drink, pointing me to their vast array of bitters, lagers and ciders. He appeared to be very knowledgable of the selection, letting me know the percentages. I took a seat in the lovely rustic restaurant, browsed the fine selection on the menu and enjoyed their free WiFi. I was after a steak(£23! A little pricey if you ask me), so I went for a Tuns Burger instead(around £10). After a 10-minute wait, my food arrived and it looked delicious. The fries and onion rings were already salted which I found a little odd, the portion was a little small for my liking but overall, the burger was gorgeous and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. A lovely pub, generally reasonably priced and would definitely return!

Very pleasurable meal. Well priced and a good selection for all the family. Good service other than one order forgotten but this was resolved quickly! And did not cause too much of an issue. Restaurant very quiet for a Saturday afternoon though!
