A charming retro (1950s) themed café and ice cream bar right on the beach at Dymchurch.
The ice-​cream, actually Gelato as the nice lady who owns it will tell you, is made on the premises and is delicious!
The café also does a nice line in sundaes and the usual fare you might expect. Inside there is a delightful 1950s jukebox, formica topped tables, chrome leffed high stools and all the paraphenalia of a classic 50s seaside café.
There is a step-​up into the café, but once inside you’re on the level so it is as accessible as it can be bearing in mind its location and the need to protect against an enthusiastic sea. .. that step might sometimes be the one thing against you and the North Sea!
Retro is a delight, do pop in if you’re thereabouts.
