a good atmosphere but very very small and gets very very packed! If there are people standing at the bar you cant get to the downstairs area. Its also quite pricey, £9 for 2 shots of sambuca, won’t be making that mistake again. Good place to start at and have one or two cocktails before heading elsewhere.

This isn’t the first B@1 I’ve been to, but I quite liked the atmosphere. It is a skinny bar, but there’s a nice seating area downstairs with plenty of squishy sofas. The cocktails are tasty, and not hideously priced for the area(£7.50 per cocktail). Also, the barmen are flirty, which is always a plus. We went on a Friday night around 11pm, and managed to grab a booth downstairs quite easily, but it was fairly hectic upstairs.

Great place for cocktails — ice cream ones are really good but not for those who are trying to trim the figure — unless you allow yourself treats. This b@1 is very small — that’s it’s only downfall, as it is very popular in Richmond. The one in Putney is good to– abit bigger in size. They do have promotions for cocktails so definitely get there for 241 if you can!!!

Great place to go after work. 241 cocktails in the evenings for a period of time. Small but welcoming. The guy’s behind the bar do make a good cocktail but occasionally need to be reminded they are not Tom Cruise and that you don’t have all evening. Downstairs there is a great area for work do’s and parties.

A group of us came here one evening for drinks on a Wednesday night and it was pretty low-key, playing a mix of hip-hop and alternative rock mainstream music. I absolutely loved it. The venue, as it wasn’t packed, was great to just hang out and talk and meet some new people along the way. We came just before happy hour, so we ordered 18 drinks all at once and the bartenders were awesome in serving them up for us… some even without ice initially so we could take our time drinking and add ice later. The bartenders took really good of us even though we were sitting in the back and as we got to know them better, they even served our payee a really unique drink on the house. I would definitely come back here because the bartenders are awesome and friendly. The place is clean, and small enough to be intimate for a small group. I can imagine it being pretty rough on a crowded night, but you give some and take some eh? Also from what I hear, it is one of the very few places in London that serves Patron Tequila… big seller for me! :)

Doh! There is already an entry for this under B@1, so if you’re interested in this place, search under that too!

The only and I mean only reason I go here is to carry on drinking after the bars have closed. Smells of BO and feet, drunk people singing to Jon Bön Jovi. One guy asked if he could go home with us to me and my male friend, I said, ‘who are you asking me or him?’. He said, ‘Either, I’ll take whatever I can get’. I rest my case.

Popped in this evening for a drinks with a colleague. What would have been a four star review now becomes a 3 star, due to the fact that it was absolutely baking(upstairs and downstairs), the air conditioning was switched off, and as a result the place developed a stench of rotten Bravo Oscar. Had to make a run for it after one drink, as the smell and heat was unbearable, which was a shame really as they were doing 2 for 1 on Cuba Libres, quite nicely mixed too. Extensive cocktail list, according to the book of cocktails, the bar staff have a knowledge of over 190 cocktails. Worth a visit, but if it’s warm I suggest a seat by the door with a foot propping it open.

I love, love, love cocktails. Given the chance, I will pick the most complex, ingredient filled concocction, working my way through the menu as if it was a scientific experiment. Then I wander why my bank balance appears to have a hole in it! So when I discovered B@1 a couple of years ago, I thought it was a match made in heaven. I have been to this B@1 for a couple of years now. It is not a big venue, and gets filled up extremely quickly. This is not a place for a quiet drink. The crowd on a weekend is generally boisterous but good natured. You will find yourself having to shout to whoever you are with, and will probably end up in a human sandwich every time you head to the bar. To be perfectly honest, B@1 lacks a little bit of atmosphere. They focus entirely on lots of cocktails and loud music, so it s a fun venue in Richmond, probably the only one of its kind, but its not a bar that you are going to remember in years to come.

I love the B@1 brand and I have been to some but not all of them. They have a number of bars in London and they are a cool and funky place to chill and have a good time. Happy hours abound here and you can make the most of the daily happy hours between the hours of 6 — 8 or 6 – 7 on Sat. They may like to thing that they can attract an all day trade here but don’t be fooled it is one of the bars to be in after work and in the evenings over the weekend. Choose from a selection of old classic cocktails or go for one of the B@1 designed specials, they have a massive choice so fill your boots. Always a good vibe going on and great music as well. One of the better bars in Richmond, make sure it is on your list.
