This Morrisons is a really nice store. It’s in an ideal location, just outside the town centre with a large car park, but still within walking distance for people doing High Street shopping. Internally, it’s pretty much the same as any other Morrisons: a little dated, lots of yellow and black, a little disshevelled looking but plenty of decent stuff at reasonable prices. It’s not the largest shop in the world but it’s more than big enough for the average family weekly shop, and it’s loads bigger than the tiny little Asda at the other end of the town centre.

Morrisons in Retford is fairly large for the town, and much bigger than the more-central Asda store. Its typical of most original-Morrisons stores, and includes a market street area including the Produce dept and a fish bar. The store sells a large range of groceries, and has started to sell electrical items as well. They also randomly sell Sandisk memory cards for next to nothing. It often does extremely generous deals on Wii and xbox games, along with decent dvd multipacks. There is also a petrol station which is not directly part of the store — it is on Moorgate around the corner from the main store.
