I hadn’t been in F&Bs in years, the last time I went I didn’t like the meal, the Americanism or the whole chain restaurant thing. So imagine ending up there for lunch on my 30th birthday! My Mum and I were hungry so just went for it. We were in the Braehead one(used to be Xscape), its a good size and wasnt too busy. We got three courses for £11, served a lovely waiter with(what I hope was) a cheesy fake Italian accent. I got mushrooms to start, creamy chicken pasta for main and finished with waffles. Everything was delicious!!! I was stuffed and chuffed ;). My Mum also enjoyed her meal, she had garlic bread, fish and chips and ice cream. I’m not a big drinker and Mum was driving to I had diet coke(with unlimited refills) and Mum had tea. The best part was the music they played! Elvis, Dusty Springfield, The Beatles and lots of others that I love. The bathrooms were nice too :). So my views of Frankie and Benny’s have definitely changed and I will no doubt return.

Love this place, found myself going there on a weekly basis before i started my health kick. Fantastic choice of food, have something on the menu for everyone, great portion sizes(most times i find myself unable to finish it all) and good value for money. Sometimes you do have to wait to be seated if its busy but they have a pager system so can wander around xscape until your tables ready and they will notify you. Great for birthdays as they do bring out a cake and sing happy birthday. Staff are always very friendly and helpful :) will defo be back x

The actual arrangement of resteraunts in the food court at xscape is exceedingly good as it offers a wide variety, and hence the competition should be fierce. Having decided on Frankie and Bennys I would have expected decent service, decent food and a decent atmosphere. What I got was quite the opposite. Having waited 10 minutes to be seated, the place wasn’t that busy, by a grumpy greeter, it was another 20minutes until anybody came to serve us. In fact it was only when we got up to leave that somebody arrived. Having decided on the most decadent dish ever assembled, well considering as it took 45 minutes to arrive, a cheese burger, I wish we had left. The bun was burnt and cold, the burger was also cold and the chips were luke warm. All in all a waste of money

Love this place for its american diner character and relaxed atmosphere. Dont like all the kids eating there though, which is a bit of a cheek as the restaurant is located in the Xscape centre which is basically kid heaven. The food is always great and they have a good variety so you will never run out of new things to try — pizza, fish, pasta, chicken, meat — and the desserts — yum! The music is old style american favourites and suits the character of the place. They do a great breakfast there too with your maple syrup pancakes, fry up etc. Definately worth a visit but if I ma there can you leave your kids at home please?

Had a nice meal here a few weeks ago, the staff are friendly and the food was good. The burger I had was slightly on the too large side, but that was more down to my eyes being bigger than my belly I think! The system they have for letting you know your table is ready is pretty good, its a small pager you can carry with you outside the restaurant, it buzzes and flashes when your table is ready so you can entertain yourself when its busy(and it is at the weekends — very!) We were served by 3 different waiters/waitresses and they didn’t ever get confused, knowing exactly what you had ordered and service was quick and efficient. Happy as larry with our meal, werent there for long as had a movie to catch, but I would be happy to go back again for a longer visit!

Frankie and bennys bases itself on a family based italian restaurant. Nicely decorated to give it a homey feel. Service is always great here and a wide choice on the menu — typically pasta and pizza, with some steak/ribs. The lunchtime menu is excellent value, 3 courses and refillable soft drink recently worked out at less than £13 including a tip.
