We were here for Saturday lunch and it was a-ok as my rating of three stars indicates. The food was probably worth more than three stars. I had a vegetable lasagne which was generously sized and very cheesy, containing nicely cooked veg and pasta. The beer selection was a bit uninspiring. Not of the ales sounded that great and the lager selection was so-so. The staff were friendly but service was far too slow, they seemed quite understaffed. They gave us a complimentary starter of a cream cracker each with what I believe was hummus, that was weird. I’d come back as the place was comfortable enough and the food pretty good.

I spent a few days in the English countryside and this place was perfect for the journey. This was a very charming restaurant with a wonderful menu and delicious meals! I had the lamb and it was superb. The waitress was a beautiful soul :)
