My first time at a Nando’s. 26÷5÷14. Overall I enjoyed the food, but felt it was a bit pricey for the quantities. The menu was explained, but not the fact that I had to go to the counter to place the order. Nevertheless, once I had asked I was armed with the information. I like this conversation: Me: «Do you accept American Express?» Nando’s person at counter: «What’s that?» Me: «It’s a credit card.» Nando’s person at counter: «Why do you want to use that?» Me: «Because I want to get points towards flights. Shall we see if the machine accepts AMEX?» Nando’s person at counter: «OK.» Card was accepted. Nando’s person at counter: «Cor! That’s news to me.» OK the order was as follows: Brahma Beers — £3.60 each x 2 = £7.20(A bit steep for bottled beer.) — It was quite refreshing… Single Chicken Wrap — Medium Sauce — Side of Coleslaw — £8.30 Double Chicken Wrap — Plainish sauce — Side of regular chips — £11.60 Double Chicken Wrap — Medium sauce — Side of regular chips — £11.60 Double Chicken Wrap — Extra Hot sauce — Side of regular chips — £11.60 Total Bill: £50.30 Apparently one of the soft drinks’ machines weren’t working, so the kids had free drinks and refills — I thought that that was a nice touch. I found the sauce bottles, and went for the extra extra hot sauce. Really really hot… Especially when you then bite into your chips. Some of the sauce bottles didn’t pour very well; due to being clogged. I had take the spout out to pour the sauce. Although I found it quite pricey, I did like the taste of the food. The staff were helpful when they were stopped and asked about anything.
