In terms of what’s available, then this place has cornered the market for the area.
Although it’s tucked away a little, there is ample parking or it’s only a fifteen minute walk from the station.
The prices are a little on the hefty side and the queuing for the check-​outs can be rather lengthy.
Unless it’s something specialist that you’re after, you may find the equivalent elsewhere at a cheaper price.

I have used Hobbycraft mainly when creating greetings cards.
I find that they have the best selection of materials for cardmaking, that makes the idea of sending cards that much more special.
If you need some inspiration, there are leaflets dotted around the store giving you ideas for projects.
there are many crafts toys and models for kids to make.
Hobbycraft is the best such store i have come accross.

Hobbycraft is a chain of craft stores which sell general craft supplies, material, wool, scrapbooking materials etc. Best craft shop in the local area, but as it is not in the main town centre it is quite a walk if you do not drive! Staff are usually behind the register rather than out on the floor making it hard to find someone if you want some help.

As a crafter, I think the selection on offer (especially beads and other jewellery making stuff) is pretty poor.
