On two levels(with an escalator), this is the largest Boots I’ve had the opportunity to visit. It has all the usual stuff found at the location that’s about 200 yards away on Friar Street, but there’s more of it and with wider aisles. Prices seem to be about the same. There is also a one hour photo center here plus a few expanded cosmetic and perfume counters, none of which I needed today.

The sales Assistants in this boots is a bit stuck up, in my opinion. Last week, i had to go through so much hassle trying to return a facial skincare set which i bought for my mum. Mindyou, the set was still sealed in the plastic cover. Boots generally accept return of everything, except cosmetics and medicine. Howevery, the snotty lady that served me trated me like a kid and told me that if i read their receipt, i would have noticed that they dont accept returns on skincare. In addition to that, she created such a fuss that the two Sales Assistants on her either side got inolved and i feel like i am being picked on(which i am). she then declared in an almighty voice that she will refund me this time, but there will be she will not refund anything skincare from me in the future. I would have called for a manager if i wasnt in a hurry. Later, I called customer services, who apologised profusely and said that they do refund skincare!

Boots is definatly the leading pharmacy and chemist in my opinion. I wasn’t too fond of shopping at boots a couple of years back and thought the advantage card was just a long winded method of earning points and that it would take 3 years and £3000 worth of shopping for you to earn enough points to get a bottle of shampoo. I was wrong. The advantage card is one of very few points and reward cards that is actually good value for money and goes along way. You normally earn 4p back for every £1 you spend and there are always items which boost your points dramatically. In top of all that they have a vast range of medicines, baby products, haircare, skin care and so on. Defiantly a rewarding place to shop/

great big boots in the oracle. has everything you could want from a boots store. Photo service is pretty good. good range of childrens clothes, food, toiletries. there are department store style cosmetics counters with dedicated staff on hand. Good choice of perfumes along the wall that you can try yourself without having to ask the SA to spritz you!

As far as Boots stores go this one is one of the best I’ve been to. Down stairs are the normal products you’d expect but upstairs they have a really good opticians and also offer laser eye surgery. 10⁄10

I like the boots in the oracle as its easy to wonder around the store, and the checkout staff always seem very happy. I think the makeup in boots is laid out very well and very resonable priced. My only complaint would be the lack of a chanel counter(I would love to get advantage card points on my chanel mascara each month).
