Prescot Railway Station is fairly unremarkable as far as train stations go. The ticket office side has a small waiting room, so there’s somewhere to shelter during the cold winter months, but there are no facilities such as shops or cafes. There are no public toilets either, although perhaps if you asked they’d open up something. There is a payphone if you need to call a cab on your arrival. The service is usually prompt and friendly, and there’s never been much of a queue when I’ve been there. The other side has just a shelter. There’s a car park that I would guess holds about 30 cars.
