Have been going to Beijing for a good few years, always happy to chat with the staff and a bit of football banter with George the manager and his brother Dave. I recommend the ribs starter every time I go there, spot on, Also serves a decent pint of bitter.

went to the beijing tonight deeply disappointed arrived at 6pm starter arrived at 6.05pm main course came out as soon as starter was finished theres nothing worse than having a meal when you feel rushed as if in mcdonalds fast food we had 4 people or should i say locusts around us hovering as soon as i put my knife and fork down they were over asking were we finished can you not have a break and chat i ask you? they came over about 6 times it was at that stage that iwe both just said take it away and can i speak to the manager george as i found it deeply embarrassing indesgestion was a word i would need to use at this stage 4 people hovering around is not only uncomfortable but down right rude especially as the prices are not cheap manager came over and said ohh its because we are not busy so they stand about that is not my problem really made me feel uncomfortable to the stage of that i will never eat there again needless to say they will never have our business again and as i said to the owner on the way out i will be writing a review on your restaurant. shocking i would never recommend this to anyone due to the way we were treated.

I used to like this chinese restaurant but have found it’s not as good as it used to me. The food doesn’t seem to have a lot of flavour– it’s very bland. They have a large restaurant with a bar area & also offer take away. There’s a large choice so plenty to chose from & the staff are lovely but the bland food lets it down. The décor needs a bit of updating but it’s always clean & tidy.
