When I return home for a visit I have to make a stop here to stock up on books which my Mum finds hilarious — my rucksack doesn’t on the train back to London as I invariably come away with at least two new books!
I cannot stress enough how brilliant this charity shop is for books — infact for everything, dvds, music (books, dvds, music, puzzles and games upstairs, clothes, bags and shoes downstairs) but that’s what I’m basing my review on as I’ve only ever brought books from here.
The selection of books is excellent — pretty much whatever you’re after you will find here — and I’m always impressed at the condition the books are in, the very reasonable prices you pay and often how current the books are! All this and you’re donating to charity too!
I cannot recommend this charity shop enough and what’s more it’s located just off Commercial Road, the heart of Portsmouth’s shopping precinct.

This charity shop supports a worthy cause so I always take a look when I’m passing. It sells clothes, bric a brac
and books. I always try to buy books from charity shops because if you take them back after you have read them you
can help the charity twice. This store is quite large compared to some of the other charity shops. This means it
has a good selection and appears to have new items in quite frequently. You never know what bargains you might
find in a charity shop. The books are kept in a small room upstairs so not all the shop is easily accessible for
the disabled. The shop itself is located just off Commercial Road so is close to the main shopping area. It is
also close to the bus stops so you can reach it easily by public transport.
