As you might expect, this place sells pianos. My piano was part-exchanged here. Thing is, that when you buy a piano, you get a five year guarantee which ties you in to having the proprietor being the only person to tune it for that time. So? Well, he’s a pain! I took to letting him in then declaring I had housework to do and running upstairs. When I heard that he was finished, I’d go down, apologise for my ill manners and pay him. It’s just that he talks a lot, favourite subjects being himself and God. No! Not on my time thanks. However, my piano is a rather good one, but it is pot luck as to what you find in the shop. One half is devoted to uprights and the other to grands and baby grands. Thing to do is say what you’re looking for and how much you want to pay. They will let you know if that come into the shop. All in all, they do a good service, but I won’t return and a local remover will no longer contract for them, I’ve heard.
